A Four-Tier Smart Contract Model with On-Chain Upgrade

When there are loopholes in smart contracts or changes demand, the existing three-tier model can only implement partial on-chain upgrades and security of cannot be guaranteed. In this study, we optimized contract proposed a four-tier that includes proxy, verification, business, storage layers. The proxy layer is used to link with other layers, verification check integrity, boundary values, abnormal processes contracts, business execute logic, store data uniformly. On basis model, an upgrade algorithm proposed, which implements upgrade, version compatibility contracts. We then design information exchange system based on test it FISCO BCOS platform. Experiments show that, compared reduce complexity migration cost at some overall deployment.
